C2 – Selective Use of Mediation for Immigration Cases – Karina Igla, Damarie Nix (1.5 CME Credits Circuit)

This workshop focuses on the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court’s selective use of mediation for immigration cases. The current political and social climate have escalated immigration and placed heavy tolls on the various government institutions nation-wide creating overflow in an environment already riddled with overtaxing of resources and simply not enough time for court resolution. Mediation can be one way to address these current immigration realities.
